Obituary

Pat J. Martelli, of New Milford, CT, formerly of Fitchburg, WI, died suddenly on November 20, 2019 at New Milford Hospital. He was 70 years old.
Born on April 30, 1949 in Campobasso, Italy, son of the late Moses and Maria (Niro) Martelli. Pat graduated from the NYC Schools and attended a Visual Arts Trade School.
On November 28, 1982 he married the love of his life, Christine Darby at the United Methodist Church in Mt. Kisco, NY.
Mr. Martelli worked for General Motors as an assembly lineman for over 30 years before retiring. Following his retirement from GM, Pat worked for Walmart both in WI and New Milford, CT. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing. Pat was a hands-on man; he loved wood working, home remodeling and landscaping. His greatest passion in life however was his grandchildren.
Pat is not only survived by his loving wife of 37 years but also his children; Amie Carlino and her husband Brian, Anthony Vaccarello and his wife Hilliary, Robert Martelli, Michael Martelli and his wife Jaci, his grandchildren; Ava, Ella, Preston, Parker, Gabriel and Aiden, his siblings; Maria DeGrazio, John Martelli, Aldo Martelli, several nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, Sabrina, Coco, Ellie, Stella and Gabie. He was predeceased by his dog Miss Mousee.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 24, 2019 at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY from 5pm-8pm. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Pat may be made to Putnam County Humane Society, P.O. Box 297 Carmel, NY, 10512.
