He was born in the village of Sant’Ambrogio Sul Garigliano, in the Province of Frosinone, Italy, on October 30, 1930. One of seven children, he was born to Joseph and Emilia (Iacobucci) Broccoli. He and his family survived the nearby Battle of Monte Cassino during World War II before emigrating to the United States in 1950. Originally living in Providence, Rhode Island, he joined the United States Army in 1952

and was selected for combat during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the Army in 1954, Domenic returned to Rhode Island, where he would meet his future wife, Marie (Broccoli). They would marry on September 7, 1957 in Providence.

Domenic and Marie moved to Dobbs Ferry, NY, in 1960, where he worked as a builder and part-owner of Luzern Builders with his brother Peter, helping to design and build homes in the area. After moving to Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, he went on to become a foreman in the Village of Scarsdale Water Department- a position he held for twenty years. After retiring Domenic moved to Bethel, CT in 1996. In his free time he was fond of spending time with his grandchildren, working in his garden, making wine, watching his favorite New York sports teams (the Yankees and Rangers), and smoking fine cigars.

Domenic is survived by his devoted wife Marie, his son Dominic and his wife Carolyn of Bethel, CT; daughters Marina Giuliano and her husband Joseph of Bethel, CT, and Regina Bocchino and her husband John of Mahopac, NY; his eight grandchildren: Jessica, Sarah (Morrison) , and Dominic (Jr.) Broccoli, Michael, Marisa, and Caroline Giuliano, and Vincent and Nicholas Bocchino; and one great-grandchild: Brock Morrison. He is also survived by his brothers Anthony Broccoli of Johnston, RI and Enrico Broccoli of Lithia, FL, and his sister Elvera Scatigno of Somers, NY. He is predeceased by his parents, his sisters Angelina (Soave) and Anna Broccoli, and his brother Peter Broccoli.
